My Anti-Aging Skincare Routine

Hi guys. My name is Jamie, and today I'm going to show you how I use the Epicuren Discovery enzymes in my anti-aging regimen.

I've been using Epicuren products for over 20 years, and I just started adding the enzymes to my evening routine. I love when my skin is looking its best, and the results with the enzymes have been amazing.

Step 1 - Cleansing Oil

First, I'm going to start by cleansing my face with the Silk Radiance 3-in-1 Cleansing Oil. It's infused with essential oils and creates that spa-like experience at home. I use a few pumps and massage onto dry skin using my fingertips. What I love about this cleanser is it starts as a rich gel, and I apply a few drops of water and it becomes a milky cleanser. Oil attracts oil, so this cleanser is great for removing excess oil and debris from my pores. It's loaded with antioxidants and lipid oils that purify my skin and restore moisture. I finish rinsing with water and lightly pat my face with a towel.

Step 2 - Exfoliation

Next, I'm going to do a little exfoliatimg using the Apricot Facial Scrub. This is an important step that helps loosen and remove dry and dead skin. I use a dime-size amount onto damp skin. This scrub is made with walnut shell granules and apricot seeds making this an effective yet gentle exfoliation. I like to scrub two times a week and focus on fine lines or any pigmentation areas to help refine and brighten my skin. Then thoroughly remove with water and a damp towel.

Step 3 - Toner

Now I'm going to mist my face with the Protein Mist Enzyme Toner. Toners are important because they help balance your skin's pH, allowing the products to absorb better into the skin. This toner is alcohol-free and contains apricot and aloe to soothe and hydrate the skin.

Step 4 - Liquid Gold

Now that my skin is toned and prepped, I'm ready to apply the Enzyme Concentrate Vitamin Protein Complex, otherwise known as the liquid gold. I'm going to apply two pumps and pat gently into my skin. Make sure to include your neck and decollate. These enzymes are rich in vitamins and protein nutrients and work to visibly improve the skin's elasticity, skin tone, and overall health of the skin. To me, this is the best anti-aging product in the line. Because of the potency, when you start adding enzymes to your regimen, it's important to gradually introduce the product into your skin. I began using the concentrate one time a week and gradually worked up to four times a week.

Step 5 - Protein Gel

After the concentrate, I'm going to use the Gel Plus Enzyme Protein Gel. This next step is important to help seal in the enzymes. I apply a pea-size amount into my hands and apply directly to the skin. The Gel Plus also has aloe, so it's very hydrating and soothing. It also contains the enzymes, so this is another great product to use when introducing enzymes to your skin. I wait a few seconds for the product to dry and then move to my next step.

Step 6 - Moisturizer

For my moisturizer, I really love the Ultra Rose Treat. This moisturizer features Bulgarian Rose oil and the Metadermabolic enzymes for added rejuvenation. I massage it onto my face and neck. My skin tends to be dehydrated, so the Rose Otto really helps soothe and hydrate my skin.

Step 7 - Serum Amplifier

For my final step, I'm going to show my skin some love with the Pro Collagen + Serum Amplifier. As we age, our skin slows down its production of collagen, which is what gives our skin that youthful, plump look. I focus on any area of concern, gently padding under and around my eye area and forehead. If there's any extra product, I like to apply it to my neck and chest.
